Your Best Foot Forward

We’re a couple weeks into the school year and getting back into a new routine. This years a little different for us since both my kiddos need to be dressed and out the door first thing in the morning. Last year, if need be, I could take my daughter, Mahlia, in her Jammie’s for Paxton’s drop off. But this year…both kids need to be dressed, fed, teeth brushed, bags packed and out the door. Thyme For Fun!

I knew I wanted herb plants to put in my kitchenette but I didn’t know exactly how I wanted to do this. I looked through Pinterest to get some ideas, but ultimately you need to work with the supplies in hand. So one day shopping at Walmart with Mahlia, we briefly looked at their garden center and I found the cutest pots! I knew with some stencils and a sharpie I could create it exactly how I imagined it! Meet the Ultimate DIY Mom

Before I can go any further on this site I need to talk about someone that has instilled the passion for creativity in me, one of the most incredible women I know, my Mom. By the age of 10 my Mom taught me how to knit, cross stitch and sew. I may not have utilized these skills or appreciated them so much when I was younger but I unknowingly carried them with me throughout  my life.
