We’re a couple weeks into the school year and getting back into a new routine. This years a little different for us since both my kiddos need to be dressed and out the door first thing in the morning. Last year, if need be, I could take my daughter, Mahlia, in her Jammie’s for Paxton’s drop off. But this year…both kids need to be dressed, fed, teeth brushed, bags packed and out the door. I have become a bit obsessed with heavy whipping cream over the past year. I believe it started when I went through my brief crêpe phase and learned to make whip cream to fill them. The crêpe phase didn’t stick but the whip sure did! It is so easy and tastes so much better made from scratch! I love to buy the heavy whipping cream at Aldi’s, it’s about half the price from other grocery stores and I love that it lasts a long time in the fridge!

Do you have a wine cabinet that doesn’t get used? I know that’s a ridiculous question. My friends would probably laugh at that question or look at me like I’ve gone insane. But yes, we actually had a wine cabinet that was sitting there…empty…true story.
